In 2006, I flew out to China’s Special Administrative Region to headline the very first Hong Kong International Comedy Festival. What a raucous week that was. The TakeOut Comedy Club housed the shows and the festival’s competition finals within its confines. The competing comics were all from the area, whether expats or native Hong Kongers.

The festival itself has grown into a multi-week event, with finals held in larger theaters. The competitors now hail from around the world. Here we are ten years later, I’m asked to return to headline shows and host the finale of the competition. I am flattered, honored, excited.

Over the years, Hong Kong has very much become my home away from home. I have enjoyed seeing the scene carved out by Jami blossom into a great comedy city. Along the way, I’ve been thrilled to introduce Hong Kong to a bunch of my funny friends who also have become regular mainstays of the scene: Steve McGrew, Butch Bradley, Ruben Paul, Dwayne Perkins.

This year at the 10th Annual Hong Kong International Comedy Festival, here’s where you can catch me:
