I aim to entertain you when you come to a show, of course. Also, just for kicks and giggles I do most of the posters you’ll find me on, especially the ones here on my website, Facebook or Twitter accounts. Often, the posters have something to do with the gig. Like this one, this one or this one. Then other times I just do something weird that strikes my fancy at the moment, such as this poster.
So when I finally nailed down the dates and details for my Asia Tour 2015 Part 2 and found that Tokyo was on the radar this time, the tendency was to go Godzilla for the poster. And I did. But then the more I looked at it, it seemed too… easy? So instead, I scrapped it and went kinda Godzilla and kinda weird. The result? A monster is still flying over Tokyo, but it’s a hybrid Mothra-XMen-registered-sex-offender monster. Creepy. Joyous! Fanciful. Creepy. (Again.)
