Before I head off to South Africa, I’m squeezing in a week of shows in Northern California. Which is kind of the opposite of South Africa, I guess.

There are many things Sammy Hagar can’t do, like drive 55 or share a hotel room with Eddie Van Halen. But on the positive side of the balance sheet, he can make good music and tequila. Also, he owns the Cabo Wabo Cantina chain of restaurants and nightclubs. The Vegas Cabo is home to the LA Comedy Club, and that’s exactly where I’ll be performing from January 19-22.

One show nightly at 9pm (the Sunday show is at 8pm), and what a show it’s going to be! Since it’s Cabo, you know the drinks are going to be crazy and, despite Sammy starting a band called Chickenfoot, the food will be great too.

The last time I was in Las Vegas, I invented the world’s greatest dessert! Don’t miss out on what happens this time.

The Planet Hollywood Resort has an entertainment district called The Miracle Mile, and Cabo Wabo Cantina is right at the front of the Mile on the Las Vegas strip. Easy.

Mark your calendars and get ready for a big night of fun. 142 Throckmorton Theatre (aka The Throck) is the setting for Mark Pitta and Friends, a Tuesday night tradition. Previously, I’ve performed here with comic greats such as Dana Carvey, Robin Williams and Arj Barker. You never know who might show up, but rest assured it’s always a blast. Well, I guess you know I will show up.
