The second issue of Mirth + More is out on stands now! Well, not in the United States. But M+M is “Asia’s Premier Comedy And Lifestyle Magazine” so look for it over there and read their review of one of my shows in Kuala Lumpur. The cover should be easy to spot as it features the distinctive visage of my friend, the most famous person in Malaysia, Harith Iskander. Harith is the godfather of stand-up comedy in Malaysia and it’s always a treat to hang out with him.

SPOILER ALERT: Harith is also a director and an actor. He figures prominently opposite Jodie Foster as Chow Yun Fat’s bodyguard in Anna And The King. Harith blows up the bridge at the end.

That movie was based on the same novel that spawned the hit Broadway musical The King and I. You know, the one with the songs Getting To Know You and Something Wonderful. Don’t worry, I had to look it up too. But it was necessary for the segue I’m about to throw your way right now.

So if you’d like to Get To Know Me, Mirth + More wrote Something Wonderful about me in their latest issue. (That was such a stretch, you don’t have to do your yoga today.) If you can’t get to Asia to buy the magazine, here’s their review of a show I did. But you should still totally find a way to get a copy since the mag is filled with interviews and other great features.
