San Antonio! I really hope your team wins the NBA Finals this year but the Spurs will likely be facing off against the defending-champion Miami Heat. (Which, let’s all admit, is a stupid name for a sports team. The “Heat”? Really? That’s not even a visible thing. I know that heat probably kills more old people every year than shiny boot attachments that jingle, jangle, jingle. But heart disease is the number one killer in Miami-Dade County. If they wanted a name that would sound really fierce to the old people of Miami, they could have gone with “The Miami Myocardial-Infarctions”. Scary!)
Anyway, I’ll be there for the first time in July headlining at the Rivercenter Comedy Club! If the Spurs lose, come on by for some comedy that will make you forget about the Heat. Even if the Spurs win, the club is air conditioned so you will still be made to forget about the heat.
