I met this guy at a show I did in Monterey at Planet Gemini. While I was having a pre-show bite to eat, the staff kept bringing over these crazy origami pieces that some dude was making next door in the club. An X-Wing, a stegosaurus and a scorpion were just some of the awesome paper creations. I had to meet this guy and I kept thinking “Please be Japanese, please be Japanese.” And he was! (Is that wrong?) His name is Tomo, and he plays sax in the band Volifonix (a really great band too). Check out this video of Tomo ripping a fire-spitting, city-destroying Godzilla out of paper, just for me.
